Burgess Hil FC

Founded in 1882, Burgess Hill Town FC one of the first members of the Sussex Country Association. They have since won the Sussex County League Division won title six times, three of which came in successive seasons from 1997.

 

The club made history by being the only team to gain win the Sussex County League Division Two in 1976 and then the Division One title a year later.

 

The Hillians have been led by manager Ian Chapman since 2012 and now compete in the Isthmian League Premier Division… Although, that is only narrowly after the club finished 19th in the league table in the 2016/17 campaign.


The Green Elephant Stadium, also known as Leylands Park, is where Burgess play their football – a ground that holds a maximum capacity of 2,500 people.
