Eastleigh FC

Eastleigh Football Club was founded in 1946, and the 2017/18 season is their fourth in the National League, having lifted the Conference South trophy in 2014. The Spitfires almost made it back to back promotions, but lost their play-off semi-final 5-1 on aggregate to Grimsby Town in 2015, leaving them so close to the football league yet still so agonisingly far. The past two seasons have seen the club finish 7th and 15th, but having brought in some experienced football league players such as Gary McSheffrey and Danny Hollands, Eastleigh are looking to reignite the spark that had fans on the edge of their seats at The Silverlake Stadium.
